Eligibility
Master's degree in Hindi or English with translation qualifications, or Diploma/Certificate in Hindi-English Translation, or 2-3 years translation experience in Government office
Pay / Salary
Level-6: ₹35,400-₹112,400 (Junior positions); Level-7: ₹44,900-₹142,400 (Senior positions)
Selection Process
- Paper-I (CBT): 200 objective questions (100 Hindi + 100 English) with 2-hour duration and sectional timer
- Paper-II (Descriptive): Translation passages and essays in Hindi/English for 200 marks
- Final merit based on 50% Paper-I + 100% Paper-II with merit-cum-post preference allocation
